Individual Skill Assessment

Completed at home, before the lesson

After booking and payment, you will receive a personalised 30-minute skill assessment to complete at home, time-monitored. The assessment covers reading comprehension, text analysis and writing.

It is designed to test each student's current level across critical thinking and analysis, vocabulary range, grammar control, structure, and expression fluency.

Individual Learning Profile

60 minutes · Online via Zoom

The lesson has two parts:

Part 1

We get to know each student as a learner: their goals, strengths, areas of difficulty, confidence level, learning style, and study habits.

Part 2

We go through the skill assessment together, talking through the questions and answers.

Personalised Curriculum

Sent within 24 hours of the lesson

Shortly after the trial lesson, we send you a detailed written report covering assessed skill level, their individual learning profile, and a focused 8-week improvement plan.

This plan sets out exactly what will be covered week by week, and why.

From the very first ongoing lesson, teaching is personalised, purposeful, and working toward clear goals.
